This facility has been designed to provide for the
needs of a modern membership. The 18 hole golf course
was built to USGA specifications ensuring that all
year round play should be possible. The course design
aims to meet the needs of golfers of all standards,
whilst managing to offer a charming passage through
some of the most picturesque countryside in Ireland.
The
uniquely designed clubhouse offers outstanding facilities
for golfers on its lower level, without compromising
on the standards expected by both diners and relaxing
golfers on the upper levels.
The
approach of the management team is one of trying to
anticipate the needs of members and guests, so that
their time spent at The South County can be one of
unhindered enjoyment.
The
course is available most days of the week for visitors,
and although play is scheduled so as to maximise accessability
for The South County membership, guests will always
be made to feel most welcome.
